What follows applies to mealgrace.com, where Mealgrace publishes Mealgrace. It covers what we collect, who else is involved, and the rights you hold.

Email Subscriptions

We use confirmed (double) opt-in for the mailing list, so nobody is subscribed by mistake or by someone else. Unsubscribe links and our postal address appear in every email, and we do not sell or rent the list.

Keeping Data Safe

Data lifespans are tied to purpose — analytics on the provider’s expiry schedule, email addresses until you leave the list, comments until they are taken down. Protection is by way of restricted access and encrypted transport, applied proportionately. No online service can be perfectly secure.

Third Parties

Several providers may be involved in delivering mealgrace.com — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and advertising networks. Where a provider determines its own purposes (advertising and analytics vendors typically do), it is an independent controller and its policy governs what it does.

This is not a children’s site. It is not directed to under-13s (or under-16s where that threshold applies), no data is knowingly collected from them, and any that arrives is deleted once identified.

What We Collect

We may record the usual technical details of a visit (IP address, device, browser, referrer, pages requested) together with anything you volunteer: your email address if you subscribe, and the name and address attached to any comment you post.

Given what we write about, this is worth being explicit about: we ask readers not to send us sensitive personal details, and we delete rather than retain anything of that kind that reaches us unprompted.
